and The Loved Ones

After playing and creating 3 years with Ammo Without A Gun Jeremy decided it was about that time to shed some light on some of his own work. With that Jeremy called upon Sam Allan to help make his first solo record. Jeremy went into the Off The Block studio with the mind set of just recording a few songs for his own personal use but after a few sessions it became clear that it could be so much more. JT went in for the first time and recorded most of the songs with just himself and his guitar as a base track to feed off of. After about 10 or so sessions with the help of Sam Allan and Andy Panda Mendez "The Hope" was born. Took a lot of hard work and determination, many days...and nights to finish the project. After all said and done it was all finished just in time for the CD release party held on August 3rd 2013, Jeremys birthday. After the release and success of the project within family and friends it was obvious that it was the beginning of a beautiful thing. After a few months of struggling due to band members coming and going the band came across Thomas LM, a good friend of Sam Allan and a great bassist who was more than willing to come together and join this new musical family that they have created. One of the bands favorite place to play is The Wherehouse in Newburgh NY. Gives a local indie band a place to call home. After the 3rd time playing The Wherehouse Jeremy met S who played guitar, a friend of Sam and Tommy's. After a few practices he also then joined the band. Andy "Panda" Mendez helped track bass on the record and plays lead and rhythm guitar live. Has been around since the AMMO days. The Loved Ones truly are the perfect band for Jeremy's voice, music, and vision. The name "The Loved Ones" came along while Jeremy was in the studio working on one of the songs for "The Hope". A simple idea that without the people that supported him he would be nothing. He considers every loved one in his life an equal member of the band. Every person that sings along to a song, every person that dances to a groove, every person that makes the experience what it is. All of those people make up Jeremy Torres and The Loved Ones.
